2022 Olympic Games. Quarter-final. ROC W - Switzerland W

The ROC women's ice hockey team will compete against Switzerland in the quarter-finals of the 2022 Olympic Games in Beijing, China.

In the Group A clash between these teams, ROC managed to earn a strong 5:2 triumph, with Ekaterina Dobrodeeva, Polina Bolgareva (hat trick) and Anna Shibanova hitting the target. Solid goalkeeper Maria Sorokina stopped 28 of the 30 Swiss shots she faced.

Our players subsequently conceded defeats to the USA (0:5), Canada (1:6) and Finland (0:5) in the group. For their part, Switzerland tallied the one win over the Finns (3:2) while losing to the Canadians (1:12) and the Americans (0:8).

ROC finished ahead of Switzerland in the group standings as a consequence of the superior head-to-head record.

Puck-drop is scheduled for 07:10 Moscow time. Match TV will provide a live television broadcast in Russia.
