NMHL win the Generation Cup in Saint Petersburg!

As a consequence of defeating a team representing the Student Hockey League (SHL) 5:2 at the Yubileyny Arena, the players defending the National Junior Hockey League (NMHL) have won the Generation Cup!
Both sides have now both hoisted the trophy aloft on three occasions each.
Furthermore, it's also worth noting that an attendance record for the event was set with 5,390 people visiting the event in Saint Petersburg!
Four consecutive markers from Danila Danilov (Angarsk), Semyon Chemerskikh (Kaluga), Yegor Prutskov (Ryazan) and Andrei Zharovtsev (Novocheboksarsk) allowed the NMHL to take full control of proceedings and put the outcome beyond doubt.
The SHL did respond with a pair of goals of their own, but Filipp Polikarpov (Chekhov) iced it for the NMHL with a late fifth.
