Euro Hockey Challenge. Russian Olympic team - Germany - 4:1

In Sochi, the opening Euro Hockey Challenge match took place between the Russian Olympic team and Germany.
With the home fans cheering the team on, the Russians dominated proceedings. Artyom Ilenko opened the scoring in the first period, before the same player and Kirill Semyonov increased the advantage in the second frame.
Germany did get one back in the third, but Alexei Bereglazov netted a fourth to seal a 4:1 victory! The second match will take place on Saturday.
