Sergei Svetlov is 55 years old!

On the 17th of January, Soviet hockey player and 1988 Olympic champion Sergei Svetlov celebrates his birthday, Today he turned 55 years of age, and the Russian Hockey Federation wishes him a very happy birthday as well as health and family happiness!

Begun his career in 1978 with Dizelist

Played for HC Dynamo Moscow between 1978 and 1989

Played in 373 USSR championship matches, scored 138 goals. Won a number of championship medals

Won the 1988 Olympic Games in Calgary

World champion of 1986, silver medalist in 1987 and bronze medalist in 1985

European champion 1985, 1986 and 1987, took silver at the Canada Cup in 1984 and bronze in 1987
