The RIHF is implementing digital technology in the system of educating ice hockey coaches

The Russian Ice Hockey Federation (RIHF) is undertaking courses for ice hockey coaches and specialists.

A series of events took place within the framework of the "Management of the Training System for High-Class Ice Hockey Players in the Context of Digital Transformation" and "Management of the Training System for the Sporting Reserve in Ice Hockey in the Context of Digital Transformation" topics. The education of coaches, specialists and managers in the field of ice hockey is heing carried out by the RIHF together with the Volga State University of Physical Culture, Sport and Tourism. The programs are being implemented within the framework of the "Sport is the Right Way to Live" federal project. All representatives of sports organisations which are implementing the developments of the Red Machine National Development Program are participating in the educational events.



The theoretical lesson concerning the "Modern Trends and Directions of Improving the System of the Training of Ice Hockey players in the Context of Digital Transformation" topic. Representatives of ice hocky schools and academies in Novosibirsk, Samara, Omsk, Kazan, Chelyabinsk, Saint Petersburg and Moscow took part in the discussion. In the practical part of the program, RIHF specialists demonstrated the possibilities of using modern digital technologies in managing the physical load of athletes during training sessions on the ice.
