Reaction after beating the USA at the 2019 Winter Universiade

After beating the USA 3:2 at the 209 Winter Universiade, head coach of the Russian student men's national team Vladislav Khromykh and forward Yegor Morozov shared their thoughts.

Russian student men's national team head coach Vladislav Khromykh:

- It was an interesting game today. After conceded twice in the second period, we must give the guys credit, because they came back in the third to win the match. We registered 50 shots on target, but just like in the two previous fixtures, our failiure to capitalise on our opportunities is letting us down. We will work on this in training.

Russian student men's national team forward Yegor Morozov:

- There are no easy games here, and today was a difficult one. When leading 2:0, we made key mistakes, and they punished us. I am really happy that I managed to score, I knocked the puck in at point blank range.
