The RIHF and Government of Novosibirsk Region signed an agreement concerning the Channel One Cup

The Russian Ice Hockey Federation and the Government of the Novosibirsk Region signed an agreement concerning the hosting of the Channel One Cup.
The document formalises the parties' cooperation with regard to the organisation of the tournament, which will be staged in Novosibirsk for the first time.
The agreement was signed by Novosibirsk Region Governor Andrei Travnikov and Russian Ice Hockey Federation General Director Dmitry Kurbatov.
The Channel One Cup will be staged at the Sibir Arena between the 11th and 14th of December. The tournament will be the first international competition featuring the senior Russian national team held in the region.
However, the Sibir Arena had twice previously hosted the Future Cup which involved the U18 and U20 Russian national teams.
The parties agreed to work together on organisational matters, coordinate interactions and exchange the necessary information to ensure the successful staging of the tournament.
