15.10.2025
A cooperation agreement was signed between the Russian Ice Hockey Federation and the ROLF Group of Companies at the TASS press centre in Moscow.
The agreement cements a strategic partnership encompassing support for the Russian national team, the development of youth programs and increased access to sport for children and families across the country.
The document was signed by Roman Rotenberg, the First Vice President of the Russian Ice Hockey Federation (RIHF) and head coach of the Russia-25 team, and Umar Kremlyov, the owner of ROLF.
The cooperation encompasses the development of ice hockey infrastructure, joint educational and social projects, youth and adaptive hockey, as well as initiatives aimed at popularizing the sport. ROLF will participate in the federal Russian Hockey Makes Dreams Come True program and will create grant support for young players, enabling talented children from the regions to receive equipment and the opportunity to train and participate in competitions.
UMAR KREMLYOV, OWNER OF ROLF GROUP:
"Hockey is the pride of Russia, and Red Machine is a symbol of character, the will to win and teamwork. These principles resonate with ROLF—we too build everything on unity, trust and responsibility for results. Our colour is red, the colour of energy, leadership, and forward movement. We're focusing on the future—on laying the foundations for victories which lie ahead. We understand that ice hockey is one of the most expensive sports, and not every family can afford equipment. Therefore, ROLF is developing a grant program for young players and will partner with the Russian Hockey Makes Dreams Come True project. For us, this is not just a charitable initiative, but an investment in raising a strong, confident and healthy generation. We want every child, no matter where they live, to have the chance to step onto the ice."
ROMAN ROTENBERG, HEAD COACH OF RUSSIA 25, FIRST VICE PRESIDENT OF THE RIHF:
"We're very pleased to have signed an agreement with such a strong partner. We are living in challenging times, but for us this is just another reason to strengthen our efforts to develop the national team system, as well as youth and adaptive hockey. We are always looking for new things, applying an innovative approach to the national team and academies, devising and developing new projects, and providing social support to everyone who wants to play ice hockey.
The Russian national team is the most popular ice hockey team in the country. Its support will help strengthen the national team system so that, should we return to the international arena, we can immediately demonstrate high results."
The agreement also includes a technical partnership: ROLF will become the official automobile partner of the RIHF and the Russian national team, providing transportation and service support for our teams . The partnership between ROLF and the RIHF is an important step in implementing the priorities outlined by Russian President Vladimir Putin: developing mass sport and creating conditions for physical activity for children from low-income families.
ROLF Group is Russia's largest automobile holding company with a 35-year history. The company is developing an ecosystem of services and actively implementing social projects in education, road safety and sports. Supporting ice hockey is a logical extension of ROLF's mission to develop mass sports and raise a strong, healthy generation.
