A special Red Machine display at the Ice Hockey Museum
The Russian Ice Hockey Federation and the Legends Park sporting organisation can reveal that a special Red Machine display, dedicated to seventy years of Russian ice hockey, will be set up inside the Ice Hockey Museum.
Back in May of this year, the Ice Hockey Museum was opened in Moscow. In December, it will open on a regular basis for the public, and this exhibition will be fascinating for all ice hockey lovers.
Artifacts that will be on show:
- A stick from one of the first ice hockey matches which took place on the 22nd of December 1946;
- Russian gold medals from all triumphant Olympic Games and World Championships;
- Spartak Moscow and Krylya Sovetov kits from the 1950's;
- Sticks with autographs from Russian ice hockey legends such as Vyacheslav Fetisov, Valery Kamensky, Alexei Kasatonov, Sergei Makarov, Igor Larionov, Zinetula Bilyaletdinov and many more.
There will also be Russian goaltender kits which anyone can try on, making themselves feel a true part of the team.
Visitors can also look around the Russian Ice Hockey Hall of Fame, where 147 legendary players and coaches are present.
Starting from December, visitors can purchase tickets for the museum from the VTB Ice Palace's ticket stalls. Prices will range between 100 and 200 roubles.
Opening hours will be 12:00 until 20:00.
