RESULTS OF THE WEEK
THC Tver, a club which is experiencing some serious financial trouble this season, dropped a horrible 3:9 defeat to Toros. Head coach Vladislav Khromykh slammed the team afterwards, stating that not all of his players are giving their all. Nevertheless, they did recover in their next match though, coming back from 0:2 behind to beat Izhstal Izhevsk.
Tver weren't the only ones to lose heavily, as Chelmet Chelyabinsk were surprisingly thumped by Torpedo by a difference of eight goals. Torpedo are in fantastic form, winning an incredible fifteen out of their past sixteen games.
SACKING OF THE WEEK
After losing against Torpedo and Saryarka with a combined score of 0:11, Chelmet's board took the decision to relieve head coach Alexander Rozhkov of his duties. Igor Znarok, the brother of Russian national team head coach Oleg Znarok, has been drafted in to replace him for the time being.
The sacking came when Chelmet were occupying 16th place in the standings with 52 points from 37 matches.
