Alexander Semak is 60!

Alexander Semak, a hugely successful Soviet ice hockey, celebrates his birthday on 11 February.

Today, he has turned 60 years of age!

On the international stage, the forward won all three medals of the World Championship, became a European champion on two occasions and reached the final of the 1987 Canada Cup.

Alongside his two USSR Championship titles, Alexander also spent a number of years in the NHL where he represented the New Jersey Devils, Tampa Bay Lightning, New York Islanders and the Vancouver Canucks.

The Russian Ice Hockey Federation wishes Alexander health, happiness and a happy birthday!
