Vladislav Tretiak held an on-ice training session on Children's Day

Vladislav Tretiak, the President of the Russian Ice Hockey Federation (RIHF), held a training session for young players from ice hockey schools representing the Eastern District of Moscow on World Children's Day.
The event was held in Sokolniki.
The three-time Olympic champion taught the up-and-coming athletes various important skills such as effective warm-ups, puck handling, exercises for personal development and team tactics during the session. He paid special attention to the goalkeepers, sharing specific on-ice practices, movement techniques, methods for improving certain skills and secrets of the trade.


Furthermore, current professional goalkeeper Maxim Tretiak and former Russian women's national team netminder Anna Prugova participated in the training program which was led by the RIHF President. Upon on its completion, the children received commemorative gifts.

The session was organised as a part of the Power of Russia project, United Russia's sports marathon which is taking place for the fifth time.
