Russia Reds forward Denis Anokhin:
"This was a really tough game for us. Everyone fought hard, not giving an inch. Nevertheless, we tried hard and managed to emerge victorious. My two goals? The first one was scored after we stole possession, while my second was made possible as a result of my teammate providing me with a fantastic assist. It was a surprise to score the winner shorthanded, but we're really happy that it turned out this way!"
Russia Reds forward Yuri Tumanin:
"We took our foot off the gas after taking the lead in the first period. The coaches subsequently gave us a good talking to, though, and we began competing as a team while converting the opportunities which we managed to create. Our character allowed us to gain the win. The two goals which I registered? It's all down to my teammates!"
