2017 Winter Universiade. Russia - Japan

On the 3rd of February, the Russian men's student national team will play their third match of the 2017 Winter Universiade against Japan.

Russia have been in superb form at this competition so far, thrashing South Korea 14:0 and Latvia 7:1. However, Japan have been decent too, only losing 3:4 in overtime to the Latvians and getting the better of South Korea 5:2. After two games, Japan hold four points compared to Russia's six. Our team's top scorer is currently Nikita Sirotkin, who boasts three goals to his name.
