Sergei Golubovich: "The players didn't stick to the game plan"

Russia U18 head coach Sergei Golubovich:

- Probably, the only positive about today's game is how hard the guys tried. They failed to stick to the game plan, but after playing late yesterday, tiredness took its toll. We have to give credit to the opponents, they dominated for long periods. We have to stop conceding goals.

Russia U18 forward Daniil Lobanov:

- It's a disappointing defeat, the fourth goal ruined this game. We were tired physically, it's tough to play three games in as many days. It's a shame we lost, however tomorrow we will fight against the Czech Republic. It's alway interesting to play against the North Americans, but against the Czechs, it's very difficult. 

Russia U18 forward Ivan Muranov:

- Just like all North American teams, the USA play hard in the first ten minutes before the game evens itself out. Some guys like Pavel Shen have immediately slotted into this team, while others require more time. What can we expect from tomorrow's game? The Czechs have a tendency to play dirty. From our point of view, we have to stick to our system and keep our discipline.
