The RIHF held a coaching seminar in Estonia

Within the framework of the official presentation of the Red Machine National Development Program, which was staged by the Russian Ice Hockey Federation in Estonia, a seminar was devoted to the training of players between the ages of eight and 11.

The Red Machine National Development Program is a unique training program for players developed by the RIHF with its general partner Nornickel.

Andrei Ivanov, the head of the Red Machine National Development Program implementation department, presented methodological developments for coaches working with groups at the initial stage of training. The main emphasis was placed on the issues of technical and physical training of children.

During a theory, possible options for dynamic warm-ups and exercises for improving coordination abilities and local muscular endurance were demonstrated.

The day ended with a group discussion.
