The Russian ball hockey national team competed at the European Championship and World Cup in Slovakia

Between December 11-15, the Russian ball hockey national team participated at the European Championship and the World Cup in Bratislava, Slovakia.
In the first game, Russia defeated Finland 5:3, before then losing 3:7 to Slovakia. The Russians subsequently thrashed Japan 10:0 in the concluding group-stage match.
Russia will play against the Czech Republic and Poland in the concluding two games of the competition.

On December 14, upon the initiative of the Russian Ice Hockey Federation (RIHF) and the World Ball Hockey Federation (WBHF), there will be a "Developing Ball Hockey in the World" seminar for all tournament participants. Head of the RIHF hockey technology department, Dmitry Polyanchikov (who is also working at the competition as a referee), will represent our organisation at the event alongside leading specialist Sergei Gerasimov.
