A children's sledge-hockey team has started operating in Novosibirsk

Before the 2018/2019 KHL regular season match between Sibir and Avangard in Novosibirsk, a ceremony took place dedicated to the creation of a childen's sledge-hockey team in the city.
The team is called "Sibir Sledge" and this was made possible by the joint efforts of the Elena and Gennady Timchenko Foundation and the Kontinental Hockey League. This is the second ice hockey organisation founded in Novosibirsk Region for disabled children.
