Russia U18 visited the Patriot Park

04.04.2019
The under 18 Russian national team visited the Patriot Park. At the moment, the players are preparing for the 2019 IIHF U18 World Championship, which will be played in Sweden between the 18th and 28th of April.

Russia U18 head coach Vladimir Filatov:

- In accordance with the schedule, today was a day off, and we decided that it was the perfect opportunity to take the guys to the Patriot Park where there is plenty of army machinery which tells the war story of our country. It's important to give the guys a rest, so we thought this would be a good idea. The tour around the park informed the players about the tanks on show, and as coaches, it was interesting to hear about that too. Our players even tried testing tank simulators. I think that these positive emotions will help improve their team spirit and patriotic feelings.
