Russia U16 finished in second place of the Eurasia Jastar Cup

As a consequence of losing by a score of 1:4 to Kazakhstan U18 in the final match of the competition, the under 16 Russian national team have finished in second spot of the Eurasia Jastar Cup.

Roman Andreev had initially equalised in the eighth minute, a mere matter of 73 seconds after the Kazakhs had opened the scoring.

However, the hosts immediately retook the lead nine seconds later, before they subsequently scored two more unanswered markers to secure their victory and restrict our players to the tournament's runner-up berth.
