RIHF representatives participated a medical conference

On the 10th and 11th of December, the 20th International Scientific Conference on the Status and Prospects of Development of Medicine in Elite Sport, "SportMed-2025," was held as a part of the Russian Healthcare Week forum.

Representatives of the Russian Ice Hockey Federation participated in the conference.

The conference's opening ceremony featured greetings from the Presidential Executive Office of the Russian Federation, the Government Office of the Russian Federation, the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Sport of Russia, the Federal Medical and Biological Agency and the Russian Paralympic Committee.

The organisers devoted considerable attention to the organisation of first aid in sport. Developing first aid procedures in sport is a pressing issue requiring a solution, and representatives of all sports are involved in the discussion.

Of particular interest to the Russian Ice Hockey Federation was the Medical Support for Elite Sport conference which was staged under the auspices of the Federal Medical and Biological Agency of Russia and dedicated to the periodic assessment of athlete health.

The conference atmosphere allowed all participants to ask questions, exchange opinions, and discuss research and practices.
