Roman Rotenberg participated in the Russia: Country of Sports forum

Roman Rotenberg, tbe First Vice President of the Russian Ice Hockey Federation and head coach of Russia 25, attended the Russia: Country of Sports international forum which was held in Samara.
He participated in the following four panel sessions:
- Global Trends in the Mass Sports Industry: From Amateur Associations to Global Projects;
- Government and Business: Creating a Sports Environment Together;
- Development of Strength Sports in Russia;
- Sports Ethics as a Culture of Fair Play.
Among the topics raised by Rotenberg during the discussions were accessibility of mass sports, import substitution of sporting equipment and others. During the discussions, he spoke about the Red Machine projects named Yard and Sport + Education, work ethic in national teams and children's sports, and shared with colleagues his many years of experience in developing media and infrastructure, using the example of the Russian Ice Hockey Federation and the Red Machine academy.
Among the speakers who participated in the discussions, along with Rotenberg, were, among others, the Minister of Sport of the Russian Federation and President of the Russian Olympic Committee, Mikhail Degtyaryov; President of the Russian Weightlifting Federation, Alexander Vinokurov; Chairman of the All-Russian Athletics Federation and PSB Bank, Pyotr Fradkov; Governor of the Tula Region, Dmitry Milyaev; Deputy Minister of Sport of the Russian Federation, Alexander Nikitin; Olympic weightlifting champion, Dmitry Berestov; three-time Olympic synchronized swimming champion, Maria Kiseleva; and two-time Olympic biathlon champion, Anna Bogaliy.

"The forum was very productive. Numerous working meetings were held, and contacts were made which will launch new projects and strengthen existing ones. I would like to thank the forum organisers: Samara Region Governor Vyacheslav Fyodorishchev, Minister of Sport Mikhail Degtyaryov, Roscongress Foundation Director Alexander Stuglev, and all the fellow speakers with whom I had the opportunity to participate in the sessions."
