2021 World Championship. Great Britain - Russia. A statistical look

The Russian Ice Hockey Federation takes a look at the statistics to emerge from the senior national team's comfortable 7:1 victory against Great Britain in the second match of the 2021 IIHF World Championship in Latvia:
- Goalkeeper Ivan Bocharov, defenseman Grigory Dronov and forwards Andrei Kuzmenko and Sergei Tolchinsky all made their debuts for the senior Russian national team at the World Championship. 17 Russians have competed in their maiden World Championship matches this year, a new domestic record;
- Defenseman Igor Ozhiganov (0+2) and forwards Pavel Karnaukhov (1+1) and Andrei Kuzmenko (1+1) tallied their maiden World Championship points, while forwards Anton Slepyshev and Sergei Tolchinsky netted their first goals at the competition;
- In 30 World Championship games, forward Alexander Barabanov has recorded 16 (5+11) points;
- Fellow forward Mikhail Grigorenko has gained 15 (10+5) points in 20 World Championship matches;
- In 10 appearances for the senior Russian national team, forward Vladislav Kamenev has earned six (3+3) points.
