30.08.2026
Interviews were taken following the third and final friendly against Belarus U18 in Minsk.

Russia U17 head coach Alexander Tomilov:

"Our main goal was to test out different line formations and see how our players can compete at international level. As the series progressed, the group became more united. The guys became more confident and understood how they can improve further. Of course, I would also like to thank the Belarusians for the invitation to play here. Despite the results, they have a good team. I'm confident that they're moving in the right direction.

"Factor of playing against elder opponents? The speed is different, as are the physical attributes of the opposing players. Such games help us develop."

Russia U17 forward Mark Raitsky:

"We increased our tempo with every passing game. Everyone showed character, professionalism and quality during this series. The issue of the Belarusians being older? They're bigger and stronger, but we won thanks to our speed and quality. Our discipline improved in each match."
