Four Nations. Finland U16 - Russia U16 - 2:3 SO

For their second match of the under 16 Four Nations tournament in Finland, Russia took to the ice against the competition's hosts.

Evgeny Filinov's men didn't begin too brightly, and conceded an early goal. Nevertheless, the team kept believing, and Vladislav Kotkov made it a tied game midway through the second frame.

It was high drama in the third period, as after Pavel Rotenberg gave us the lead on 51 minutes, Finland equalised with 13 seconds on the clock. No one could find the net in overtime, and in the ensuing penalty shootout Vladislav Kotkov gave Russia the extra point!

Pavel Rotenberg was crowned the player of the game after the final buzzer. 

The final match in the Four Nations tournament will take place tomorrow at 11:00 Moscow time against the Czech Republic.
