Media accreditation for the 2018 Channel One Cup

Accreditation applications for the 2018 Channel One Cup have started. This year, the Euro Hockey Tour tournament will take place in Moscow and Saint Petersburg between the 13th and 16th of December. 

The main event will see the Russian and Finnish national teams do battle at the Saint Petersburg Stadium in the "Hockey Classic" match on December 16.

Full 2018 Channel One Cup schedule:

December 13

Sweden - Russia, 18:45
Finland - Czech Republic (to be played in Helsinki)

December 15

Finland - Sweden, 11:30
Russia - Czech Republic, 15:45

December 16

Czech Republic - Sweden, 14:00
Russia - Finland, 17:00 (Saint Petersburg Stadium)

The Moscow matches will be held at the Legends Park Ice Palace (Avtozavodskaya Street, 23) while the game in Saint Petersburg will be played at the Saint Petersburg Stadium (Futbolnaya Alleya, 1).

You can apply for accreditation which covers all of the Channel One Cup matches, or just the Hockey Classic in Saint Petersburg. Accreditations for the Moscow matches can be picked up from the Legends Park Ice Palace press centre, while for the Saint Petersburg game, they can be collected at the Saint Petersburg Stadium accreditation centre. Accreditations for the Moscow games will also be valid for the Hockey Classic in Saint Petersburg. The exact address and time of accreditation collections will be sent in an email after December 7. 

In connection with high interest expressed in the Russian national team's matches, there will be quotas for the different types of media. Priority is given to sporting media and social/political media with the sports heading. After December 7, notifications concerning the issuing/refusal of accreditation will be sent by email to the email address stipulated in the application form. An event schedule, places for media and working hours of the press-centre will also be attached. 

Representatives of television companies wishing to carry out filming at the matches, as well as showing moments of the matches from the Channel One Cup, must attach written permission from Channel One in the accreditation form. Please contact Assist@sport.1tv.ru in order to receive permission.

Media representatives with accreditation will be able to attend all tournament matches and the Media Day. Information about the latter event will be released at a later date. 

You can apply for accreditation until 21:00, 7 December 2018.
