Vladislav Tretiak held a meeting with the Governor of Sverdlovsk Region

During his trip to Yekaterinburg, the President of the Russian Ice Hockey Federation (RIHF) Vladislav Tretiak held a meeting with the Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region Evgeny Kuyvashev.

Issue concerning the development of ice hockey and other sports, the expansion of the region's ice hockey governing body with the RIHF and the prospects for staging international competitions at the UMMC Arena were discussed.

The new stadium, which is one of the most modern and spacious ice hockey facilities in Russia, was opened on 10 March with Tretiak in attendance.
