Russia 25 preliminary squad for the Liga Stavok Big National Team Tour

The Russian Ice Hockey Federation can now reveal the preliminary Russia 25 squad for the upcoming Liga Stavok Big National Team Tour.

The tournament will take place between the 2nd and 11th of May in Astana, Omsk, Tula and Minsk.

These following players have been called up:

Goalkeepers: Nikita Serebryakov, Artemiy Pleshkov, Sergei Ivanov (all SKA), Yegor Zavragin, Evgeny Volokhin (both Yugra).

Defensemen: Yegor Bryutov, Nikolai Makarov (both CSKA), Ivan Vydrenkov, Artyom Zemchyonok, Nikita Kamalov, Arseniy Koromyslov, Maxim Fedotov (all SKA), Danila Galenyuk (Sochi), Vladimir Grudinin, Nikita Sedov (both Severstal), Mikhail Gulyaev (Avangard), Artemiy Knyazev, Nikita Lyamkin (both Ak Bars), Vladislav Syomin (Lada).

Forwards: Vitaly Abramov, Prokhor Poltapov, Maxim Sorkin (all CSKA), Ruslan Abrosimov, Danil Aimurzin, Yegor Stepanov (all Severstal), Vasily Atanasov (Torpedo), Zakhar Bardakov, Dmitry Buchelnikov, Mikhail Vorobyov, Vasily Glotov, Arseniy Gritsyuk, Valentin Zykov, Matvei Michkov, Nikolai Polyakov, Sergei Tolchinsky, Andrei Chivilyov (all SKA), Vladislav Barulin (Amur), Maxim Dzhioshvili, Dmitry Rashevsky (both Dynamo Moscow), Nikita Dynyak (Ak Bars), Artur Tyanulin (Sochi).

Furthermore, these following players who are currently recovering have been called up:

Defensemen: Daniil Zhuravlyov (Ak Bars), Bogdan Konyushkov (Torpedo), Daniil Pylenkov (Dynamo Moscow), Alexander Nikishin (SKA), Semyon Chistyakov, Damir Sharipzyanov (both Avangard).

Forwards: Sergei Goncharuk (Torpedo), Nikita Korostelyov (Severstal), Ilya Safonov (Ak Bars), Marat Khairullin (SKA).

Roman Rotenberg will work as the team's head coach.

The training camp in Novogorsk will begin on April 22nd.
