A Russia U17 training camp started in Novogorsk

Ahead of the 2019 World Challenge Cup, which will take place in Canada between the 2nd and 9th of November, a training camp for the under 17 Russian national team has started in Novogorsk.

These following 28 players have been called up:

Goalkeepers: Valery Brinkman (SKA 2003), Pavel Kanaev (Spartak), Semyon Vyazovoy (Salavat Yulaev).

Defensemen: Mikhail Berezovskiy, Artyom Grushnikov, Vladimir Grudinin (all CSKA), Gleb Ivanov, Vladislav Sapunov (both Dynamo Moscow), Nikita Dimitrov, Arseniy Koromyslov (both SKA), Daniil Sobolev (Spartak), Vladislav Lukashevich (Lokomotiv).

Forwards: Danila Ganin, Artyom Svischev, Alexei Prokopenko (all Avangard), Ilya Ivantsov, Vladimir Sychyov (both SKA), Daniil Lazutin, Pavel Mintyukov, Matvey Nadvorniy, Nikita Chibrikov (all Dynamo Moscow), Fyodor Svechkov (Lada), Daniil Grigoryev, Ivan Mekhov (both Ak Bars), Evgeny Gorfinyak, Prokhor Poltapov (both CSKA), Danila Yurov (Metallurg), Vsevolod Gaydamak (Spartak).

Training sessions will take place both on and off the ice. A friendly match will be held against Metallurg Cherepovets of the NMHL on October 23.
