RIHF and KHL management visited China

The management of Russian Ice Hockey Federation and Kontinental Hockey League under the auspices of the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation payed official visit to China as part of Sino-Russian relations development on November, 10-11.

The Head of KHL Board Gennady Timchenko and First Vice-president of Russian Ice Hockey Federation Roman Rotenberg discussed the cooperation issues with heads of General Administration of Sport of China and China Ice Hockey Association.  Within the freamework RIHF and KHL heads visited Master Card Center– the main venue of 2022 Winter Olympic Games hockey tournament.

Following the results of meeting it was announced that the Russian Ice Hockey Federation and Kontinental Hockey League are ready to raise the level of Chinese hockey by means of two-way cooperation in the area of sports. RIHF and KHL are ready to provide assistance in hockey tutoring and formation of junior teams and, also, in sending for exchange Russian coaches and hockey players, scouting of talented Chinese players to take part in Russian junior tournaments.
