The under 20 national team's initial roster for the Black Sea Cup

The under 20 Russian national team have begun training for the under 20 Black Sea Cup, which will take place in Sochi between the 27th and 30th of May. Six goalkeepers, sixteen defensemen and twenty six forwards have been included in the initial squad:

Goalkeepers: Anton Krasotkin, Konstantin Volkov, Mikhail Berdin, Vladislav Sukhachyov, Leonid Lazarev, Nikita Tsirkul.

Defensemen: Mikhail Sidorov, Nikita Makeev, Artyom Volkov, Sergei Zborovsky, Yegor Rykov, Artyom Chmykhov, Ilya Karpukhin, Kamil Fazylzyanov, Andrei Bannikov, Vadim Kudako, Yegor Voronkov, Artyom Vladimirov, Mikhail Yepishin, Dmitry Alexeev, Marsel Ibragimov, Alexander Yakovenko.

Russian junior national team head coach Valery Bragin:

- This will be a very positive training camp and tournament. In Sochi, we can take a look at practically all of our candidates. In line with this, we have called up a lot of players who play abroad. Goalkeeper Ilya Samsonov and forwards Kirill Kaprizov and Alexander Polunin have not been taken as we already know what they are capable of. Overall, all players which we want to see at this camp will travel to Sochi.
