Russia U20 secure Future Cup title with statement win!

Showing no mercy to the under 20 Belarusian national team, Russia U20 recorded an impressive 5:0 victory to win the 2026 Future Cup in Novosibirsk!

The Belarusians had initially had the better of a tight first period, but Nikita Kharionov tallied the all-important opening goal to put our side in the box seat.

The game subsequently well and truly ended as a contest in the second stanza.

With Matvei Gushchin, German Suzdorf and Maxim Ilyin all hitting the target, our players opened up a commanding four-goal advantage which was always going to be enough.

And that was indeed the case, with Alexander Zharovsky netting an insurance marker in the ensuing third frame.

Belarus have finished second in the standings, while the Student Hockey League occupy third place and Russia U18 take fourth.
