Viktor Shalimov has turned 75 years of age!

Viktor Shalimov, a hugely successful Soviet ice hockey player, celebrates his birthday on 20 April.

Today, he has turned 75 years of age!

During his glittering career, Viktor became an Olympic champion, won the World Championship on three occasions, hoisted one Canada Cup aloft and won two Super Series with the USSR against the Canadians.

He is indeed a member of the Russian Hockey Hall of Fame.

The Russian Ice Hockey Federation wishes Viktor health, happiness and a happy birthday!
