Channel One Cup. Belarus - Kazakhstan - 4:1

In the first senior match of the 2025 Channel One Cup, Belarus breezed past Kazakhstan, earning a routine 4:1 victory.

All competition games are being staged at the Sibir Arena in Novosibirsk.

The Belarusians already held an emphatic four-goal lead midway through the game. Kazakhstan did at least ruin Ivan Kulbakov's shutout hopes with a shorthanded marker in the third period, but it made little difference to the outcome.

Belarus will face Russia tomorrow, before the Kazakhs also take on our team on Sunday.
