Red Machine event in Medvedkovo
Specialists representing the Russian Ice Hockey Federation (RIHF) staged a training session for young athletes of the Sveton team of the Svetoservis club from Medvedkovo, Moscow.
More than 70 players participated in the sessions both on and off the ice, while a seminar for coaches was also held. All events were held in accordance with the Red Machine National Development Program.
Although the materials of the Red Machine National Development Program are available online, training in person with RIHF specialists helps the players develop even further.
RIHF coaches demonstrated new exercises with regard to skating techniques, speed, maneuverability and endurance. Thanks to the basic principles of the Red Machine National Development Program, it's possible to comprehensively enhance players' talent and ability.
The Red Machine National Development Program was created by the RIHF with the support of its partner Nornickel.
