The RIHF held a Red Machine master class in Balashikha
Specialists from the Russian Ice Hockey Federation (RIHF) held a master class for young players at the Yuri Lyapkin Ice Hockey Academy in Balashikha.
The RIHF and the Academy are collaborating on the implementation of the Red Machine National Development Program concerning the development of young ice hockey players. The event took place as a part of the agreement.
Several dozen players, as well as the academy's coaches, participated in the master class. They were shown modern methods of working with a particular focus on the practical aspects of the training process.
The signing of the agreement with the RIHF consequently provided the Academy with access to an extensive methodological base. RIHF specialists provided the academy with educational and methodological tools which allow it to tailor its training processes to the age-appropriate needs of its players, from the youngest athletes to those in older age groups.
A key area of collaboration is methodological support for the educational and training process. Representatives of the RIHF regularly conduct master classes and coaching seminars, introducing mentors to current methodological developments and pedagogical innovations. This approach ensures not only one-time assistance but also ongoing professional development for coaches.
The large-scale implementation of the Red Machine National Development Program was made possible thanks to the partnership between the RIHF and Nornickel.
