The women's Russian national team completed their USA trip with a match against Connecticut Whale.

Having lost narrowly lost the first fixture to Connecticut 2:3, Alexei Chistyakov's girls were in the mood for revenge. Early goals from Lyudmila Belyakova and Ekaterina Smolentseva gave the team the perfect start, and despite Connecticut getting one back in the second, Angelina Goncharenko quickly crushed the hosts' hope of a comeback. Connecticut notched a second later on, but Russia held on to take a precious 3:2 win!
