Closing ceremony of the 2025/2026 WHL season

The closing ceremony of the 2025/2026 Women's Hockey League (WHL) season was today held in Moscow.

These following individual awards were handed out:

Top scorer: Landysh Falyakhova (Tornado).



Top goalscorer: Elizaveta Shkalyova (Tornado).

Best goalkeeper: Valeria Tarakanova (Agidel).

Best defender: Maria Batalova (Agidel).

Playoff MVP: Valeria Tarakanova (Agidel).

Best plus/minus rating: Olga Sosina (Agidel).

Best coach: Alexander Vedernikov (Biryusa).

Best rookie: Elizaveta Kardash (Dynamo Neva).



Furthermore, clubs were also presented with accolades for their efforts throughout the campaign:

Best media and communications team: Biryusa.

Best social media platforms: Tornado.

Breakthrough of the year: Sakhalin.

Best match broadcasts: Agidel.

Best special project: SKSO.

The ceremony was opened by Vladislav Tretiak, the President of the Russian Ice Hockey Federation (RIHF). Furthermore, First Vice President of the RIHF and Russia 25 head coach Roman Rotenberg also participated in the event.
