2017 Winter Universiade. South Korea - Russia
On the 20th of January, the Russian men's student national team, under the guidance of head coach Vladislav Khromykh, will begin their 2017 Winter Universiade campaign against South Korea.
Apart from Russia and South Korea, Group C is made up of Japan and Latvia. Group A sees Kazakhstan, China, Sweden and the Czech Republic compete together, while Canada, America, Slovakia and Great Britain are in Group B. The top two from each group and the two best third placed teams will qualify for the quarter-final stage, which will be held between February 4th and 5th. On the 7th of February, the semi-finals will take place, before the medal games a day later.
The South Korea - Russia match will take place at 09:30 Moscow time on the 30th of January. Match TV will broadcast live.
