In memory of Sergei Mylnikov

1988 Olympic champion Sergei Mylnikov, who competed as a goalkeeper, would have turned 62 years of age today on October 6.
Sergei also won the World Junior Championship in both 1977 and 1978. Furthermore, as a senior international, he claimed a gold medal at the 1986, 1989 and 1990 World Championships. He was statistically the best goalkeeper of the 1986 competition.
He sadly passed away on 20 June 2017.
