Reaction after beating Slovakia

Igor Shestyorkin, goaltender:

- I have good impressions from the game. It was a tough encounter, and there were a lot of penalties. I am thankful to the guys for helping me out when I played badly. I am very happy that I made my debut for the national team and won.

Vladimir Galuzin, forward:

- It was a tight match. Both teams wanted to win, and everyone played physical. All of our players have been beginning to fight for each other, we are a real team. The coach thanked us for the performance, but raised concerns about the balance of our game.

Evgeny Dadonov, forward:
