Russia U20 squad for Future Cup preparation

The Russian Ice Hockey Federation can now reveal the preliminary Russia U20 squad for the upcoming Future Cup.

The competition is scheduled to be staged in Novosibirsk between the 14th and 17th of May with Russia U18, Belarus U20 and a side representing the Student Hockey League (SHL) also taking part.

These following players and coaches will be involved in the preparation process:

Goalkeepers: Dmitry Borichev (Loko-76), Kirill Dubrovin (Krasnaya Armiya), Marat Sabitov (Chaika).

Defensemen: Mikhail Gamzakov* (Avto), Kurban Limatov, Yelisei Ryabykin (both Dynamo Moscow), Maxim Moiseyev (Omskie Yastreby), Konstantin Nikitin (Irbis), Bogdan Pestretsov, Vladimir Shtyrkhunov (both Krasnaya Armiya), Nikita Poltavchuk (Stalnie Lisy), Nikita Tyurin* (Spartak), Yaroslav Fedoseyev (Belie Medvedi), Dmitry Shutyaev (Mikhailov Academy).

Forwards: Ivan Akhipov, Maxim Ilyin, Mikhail Melikov (all Dynamo Moscow), Matvei Gushchin, Danil Sysoyev (both Stalnie Lisy), Alexander Zharovsky (Salavat Yulaev), Dmitry Isayev* (Avto), Askar Kamalov (Irbis), Nikita Koltsov, Daniil Petrenko (both Tolpar), Vladimir Korzin, Nikita Kharionov (both Omskie Yastreby), Artemiy Kulagin (Belie Medvedi), German Suzdorf (SKA-1946), Viktor Fyodorov (Chaika), Evgeny Yakunin* (Spartak).
