Friendly match. Russia U16 - Buran Junior Team - 4:1

As a part of the preparations for the Eurasia Jastar Cup, the under 16 Russian national team hosted junior side Buran in Novogorsk and earned a confident 4:1 victory.

Dmitry Morozov stood out with a pair of markers, while Fyodor Bondarenko and Saveliy Doronin also contributed with goals.

Furthermore, Pyotr Legkov, Roman Andreev and Kirill Vasilyev netted three goals in a subsequent planned overtime period.

Russia U16 head coach Alexander Tomilov:

"These friendly games are really important for us, as we're seeing how the players are managing to implement what we've been working on at training. It was a good match today, although we need to become more ruthless in front of goal. We're working on all player development aspects during this training camp. The guys are working well with the right approach, we're moving in a positive direction with the tournament in Astana in mind. Yes, our opponents will be older than us, but we're representing Russia and will play to win in every game."
