Igor Tuzik and Vladimir Myshkin received state awards

Igor Tuzik and Vladimir Myshkin, two legendary figures of Russian ice hockey, received state awards in Moscow.
The awards were given out by decree of Vladimir Putin, the President of the Russian Federation.
The Order of Merit for the Fatherland, IV degree, was awarded to Myshkin. The famous goalkeeper, who became an Olympic champion and six-time world champion, played for his country for more than 10 years. Furthermore, upon the completion of his playing career, he worked as a goalkeeping coach with the Russian national team and helped our players win the World Championship in 2012.
The Order of Alexander Nevsky was awarded to Igor Tuzik, an Honoured Coach of Russia and the Chief Consultant of the Russian Ice Hockey Federation's National Team Administration. Over the years, Igor was the head coach of the USSR youth team and coach and general manager of the senior Russian national team. With our national teams, Igor won the 2008 World Championship and the World Junior Championship.
Furthermore, the Order of Merit for the Fatherland, III degree, was received by the legendary Soviet defenseman, two-time Olympic champion and five-time world champion Alexei Kasatonov.
