2025 Future Cup. Russia U18 - Belarus U20 - 1:2

07.11.2025
In a hard-fought battle, our under 18 national team just came up short against Belarus U20, conceding a slender 1:2 in Saint Petersburg.

This was indeed our players' second match of the Future Cup.

Andrei Pustovoi initially handed Russia the lead in the seventh minute of the second period on the powerplay.

However, after failing to increase their advantage, the hosts were pegged back at the start of the third frame as the away side netted a PP marker of their own.

And Belarus then subsequently stole the points for themselves in the latter stages of the stanza, ensuing that Russia U18 remain without a point at the competition.

Tomorrow will see a 3-on-3 tournament be contested at the Yubileyny Arena.
