Leading VHL players receive their awards

The closing ceremony for the 2025/2026 OLIMPBET Russian VHL Championship was staged in Tver Region.

The event was attended by Mikhail Degtyaryov, Minister of Sport and Chairman of the Russian Olympic Committee; Vladislav Tretiak, President of the Russian Ice Hockey Federation (RIHF); Dmitry Kurbatov, General Director of the RIHF and veterans of Russian ice hockey Boris Mikhailov, Vladimir Myshkin and Igor Tuzik.

These following players were crowned the best of the campaign:

Best goalkeeper: Evgeny Volokhin (Khimik).

Best defenseman: Sergei Teryaev (Yugra).

Best forward: Maxim Bykov (Neftyanik).

Best rookie: Jelal-Ad-Din Amirbekov (Magnitika).

Top scorer of the regular season: Mikhail Shalagin (Metallurg Novokuznetsk).

Yugra Khanty-Mansiysk boss Alexander Perov was declared the best coach, while Denis Kondratyev (head referee) and Vladimir Pyrkhov (linesman) were named the top officials.

Alongside champions Yugra, Khimik Voskresensk (silver) and Novokuznetsk (bronze) also received their respective medals. Furthermore, Novokuznetsk were presented with their trophy for winning the regular season.
