Red Machine training camp in Norilsk

Between the 16th and 18th of January, a Red Machine training camp was staged in Norilsk.
The camp was organised by the Russian Ice Hockey Federation (RIHF) and Nornickel. 90 young players aged between 8 and 13 participated in the event, with RIHF specialists overseeing the training process.
The classes both on and off the ice were held in accordance with the Red Machine National Development Program. The participants mastered key skills such as skating, dribbling, balance, changing tempo, regrouping and team tactics.
Furthermore, RIHF specialists also held a meeting with coaches from local ice hockey schools in which they discussed the prospects for cooperation and sharing recommendations concerning the organisation of the training process for athletes of different ages.
The Red Machine National Development Program was created with the support of Nornickel.
