RIHF specialists are participating in an international conference

The 'Sports Medicine, Rehabilitation and Training: A Unified Space for Innovative Solutions' international conference is currently taking place in Moscow.

The event brings together strength and conditioning coaches from the world’s top leagues on a yearly basis, as well as sports traumatologists, rehabilitation specialists, functional diagnostics experts and nutritionists. The conference features speakers from various regions of Russia, as well as from countries across Europe and the Middle East.

Representatives from the nation’s leading sports federations delivered welcoming remarks to the participants, speakers and attendees. Among the speakers was Rustam Gukepshev, Head of the Medical Department at the Russian Ice Hockey Federation (RIHF). He noted that the 'Game Without Injuries' project has long served as a significant platform for exchanging both domestic and international expertise regarding injury prevention, treatment and rehabilitation. The RIHF places a high priority on developing these essential aspects of athlete healthcare. Such international conferences facilitate the effective exchange of best practices and the sharing of up-to-date information on key industry issues.

For the past six years, the 'Game Without Injuries' conference has been included in the official schedule of scientific congresses and conferences organised by the Ministry of Sport of the Russian Federation. Over this period, it has become a vital platform for the professional growth and qualification enhancement of coaches, physicians and other practitioners, while also serving as a catalyst for further development and innovative research in sport.
