Russia 25 rounded off the Liga Stavok Big National Team Tour on a positive note, powering to a tense 4:2 victory against Belarus away in Minsk.

Maxim Dzhioshvili and Vitaly Abramov initially handed our team a two-goal lead in the first period, but the Belarusians responded in the second with Alexander Skorenov and Stepan Falkovsky hitting the jackpot.

Nevertheless, our players weren't to be denied, as Vasily Glotov and Arseniy Gritsyuk netted quickfire goals before the second stanza was out.

Following the conclusion of the game, 21-year-old goaltender Artemiy Pleshkov - who starred throughout the tour - was named the best player of the competition! Defenseman Ilya Karpukhin was declared the best Russian player of this particular match.

Russia did indeed end the tournament with a perfect record - five wins in five games!
