RIHF educational seminars at the Sirius Educational Centre

At the Sirius Educational Centre, between the 5th and 10th of April, a course of lectures for young ice hockey players from Admiral Vladivostok, Amur Khabarovsk, Kristall Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Soyuz Svobodny, Forward Blagoveshchensk, Chita and Zapolyarnik Norilsk were presented by the head of the Russian Ice Hockey Federation's medical department, Ekaterina Varfolomeeva.



The main topics of the seminars were the basics of anti-doping activities: the definition of doping, types of anti-doping rule violations and their prevention, the prohibited list and the procedure for passing doping control.

In addition, the athletes listened to a lecture concerning the importance of nutrition in sports and compliance with the water regime.
